WODdoc Episode 347 Project365: Paddle Board Hip Opener

On a hot day why not be in the water…. and while we are at it why not improve our hip mobility. After taking a SUP (standup paddle board) yoga class today I grabbed the ear of my instructor and was able to pick her brain a bit. She walked me through some great ways to modify a pigeon pose (very box-stretch like). The thing I really like about mobilizing on a paddle board is there is lots of places to grab onto to and torque urself around. Also your movements become more methodical since you have to worry about balance… it makes you slow down and think about what you’re doing…. That’s a good thing!
