WODdoc Episode 386 P365: Adaptive Athletes
Today I had the pleasure of working with Steph Hammerman…. “The Hammer” as they call her might just be the most inspiration people I have personally gotten to work with. She is extreme humble yet courageous as a tiger. …. Steph suffers form CP which is short for cerebral palsy, a condition that effects movement control, balance, and posture. It is caused by abnormal development or damage to the parts of the brain. Cerebral palsy is characterized by abnormal muscle tone, reflexes, and/or motor development/coordination. Despite all that Steph has persevered and spearheaded the task of adding the adaptive athlete category to crossfit competitions around the world. She is an amazing and true inspiration human being.
