WODdoc Episode 179 Project365: Hip Mobility Yoga Style
Today I got my stretch on with some yoga. It’s been a long time since I did any form of yoga. I encourage yoga to many of my patients, and athletes. Unfortunately for me I don’t do enough of it. However, I plan to make a conscious effort to improve that. After all, it’s all about managing sacrifice.
My favorite part about yoga is it gives you an hour to really focus on finding restrictions and dysfunctional nuggets that you didn’t even know existed. Today’s video is a little tweak on some yoga hip/ham mobility. It really like the idea of bringing the hip into a flex position, tighten the hamstring, and then mobilizing in the transverse plane of motion. Try it out and tell me what you think.
