WODdoc Episode 172 Project365: Rock Climbing Makes Your Hands Like Iron
I spend a lot of time in the gym… sorry guys, I didn’t say box but, I feel like 5 years ago CrossFit’s were boxes. Now, they’re Equinox’s without a floor full of machines. Anyway, it’s Sunday fun-day so I like to get out of the box early and go do other things. Rock climbing is one of my favorite pastimes. I used to do it a lot more before I was a “grown up” but some idiot only put 24 hours in a day so it has slipped a bit down the priority scale. Rock climbing has so many benefits that carry over into the crossfit arena. Grip strength .. yep. Pulling strength … yep. Foot, ankle, core strength… yep, yep yep. Fun… absolutely!
