WODdoc Episode 220 Project365: Hair Slick Mash
First of all … Big shout out to everyone that came to the “Why Mobility” seminar today at CrossFit Port Washington. Great group of athletes and nothing but the best hospitality. Really had a good time. Hope everyone had as much fun as I did.
Figured I would highlight one of the muscle mashes from today’s mobility seminar. Talking about that favorite place gremlins like to tie knots in the shoulder. It’s so common in crossfitters I nicknamed it the crossfit point. It’s the intersection where the latissimus dorsi sneaks up under the posterior cuff. Check out the anatomy below. Then practice today’s mobility and fix your hair at the same time…. MUUUULLTITASKING.
Don’t Mash Blind… Know Your Anatomy
The arrow is pointing to teres major. Directly below is latissimus dorsi.
Today’s WODdocket:
1. Test Overhead Position and Check out your hair
2. Perform today’s mobility… 2-4 mins / arm…. Fix hair and arm together.
3. Check mirror to make sure hair looks good….. wait… I mean re-test overhead position.
