Aww…. I love recovery days. Listen, I know I sound like a broken record by now but I can’t stress the importance of recovery days enough, especially during the Open Weeks. The vast majority of us are not used to going hard week-in and week-out. Recovery WODs activate similar tissues at low intensities and allow us to flush out our system. Better nutrient delivery, better oxygenation, and more efficient removal of waste all contribute to improved recovery.
