WODdoc Episode 364 Project365: Stranded Survivor Mob

I call this the stranded survivor mob because I envision that if I were ever stranded on a deserted island and a plan was flying by this is how I would wave my arms to flag it down. Well sorta… I guess I would be looking up at the plane and not staring at the ground buttttt you get the point.

Here is the deal…  We use a corrective exercise called a wall angel on a pretty regular basis in the rehab room. Today’s mob is a great compliment to wall angels. By using either a set of rings or a TRX we are able to stay in the coronal plane but apply a mobilizing pressure. The key here is to bend at the waist (keeping a neutral spine) like a hip hinge to modulate the pressure.  Try it out!
