WODdoc Episode 237 Project365: Band Assisted Active Frog

Today we are putting some more horsepower into my favorite hip/groin mobility.  This is one you’re going to need a buddy for. It’s just about impossible to wrap yourself up without one.  Butttt I actually put myself into this one and wow does it increase the intensity.

  • Concentrate on bringing your knees high and to the outside.
  • Only go to the full press position when you can get your pelvis to the ground during the elbow position.
  • Make sure you’re squeezing your knees together like a clam to activate that contract / relax reflex.

1. Test with an air squat

2. Spend 2-4 mins in the band assisted active frog

3. Re-test the air squat
