WODdoc Episode 411 P365: A Better Way To Role Your Back

Rolling our backs should be common practice.  We abuse them enough, thats for sure. Sometimes, things we do so regularly get watered down…. we forget the finer points. When rolling our backs out I commonly see athletes lying flat. This is ok with softer rollers but should be avoided when using firm to hard rollers. Hard rollers will crush the soft tissues between the roller and the bony prominences of your spine which may result in sensitivity. A better way is to rotate 30-45 degrees onto one side. You can get the meat without pinching the bones. Check it out on tonights episode.
